Damage map and photos — make the work done visible at a glance

The damage map makes your workshop's work visible. On the service check report's map you mark the spot with a click directly on the vehicle image, the note and the before/after photos travel with the marker, and the customer sees exactly the same view in their own report. Clear documentation builds trust and saves time for everyone — this letter walks through the feature step by step.

Damage map

Point at the repaired spot with a single click

The mechanic marks the damage location directly on the vehicle image — sides, roof and chassis separately. Each marker gets a number matching a note on the report, so the map and the notes read each other.

When the customer asks months later which spot was repaired back then, the answer takes seconds: open the report, look at the map. Every marker sits exactly where the work was done.

  • Mark directly on the vehicle image — sides, roof and chassis separately
  • A numbered marker on the map matches a note on the report
  • Same view on desktop, tablet and phone

Notes

Finding, repair and spare parts in one note

Each marker records the finding, the repair performed and the spare part details. A colour code shows the state at a glance: repaired, in progress or under follow-up.

Unfinished work stays visible until it is completed, and a spot marked for follow-up — say, early rust damage — is ready and waiting when the same vehicle next enters the workshop.

  • Colour code: repaired, in progress or follow-up
  • Spare part details stored in the same note
  • Follow-up items surfaced on the next visit
Photos

Before and after — straight from the phone

Photos are taken with the phone camera on the workshop floor and attach to the marker right away — every photo lands with the right job. Several photos of the work stages can be added at once.

Before/after pairs prove the work done and give a solid basis for warranty and billing discussions. The photos travel with the report PDF too.

  • Camera opens straight from the report, photo attaches at once
  • Several photos of the work stages in one go
  • Photos included in the report PDF as well
