New tire reporting for workshops — a visual editor and proactive sales

This is a big release built for workshops. Tire reporting was rebuilt from the ground up: a vehicle’s tires now appear from above, colour-coded, every tire’s lifecycle is recorded automatically, and you get a dedicated view that tells you which customer to offer tires to next. Below are the key improvements now rolling into production.

Tire editor

Tires from above — at a single glance

The new tire editor draws the vehicle from above: cab, axles and tires in their real positions, left and right. Each tire is coloured by tread depth, so the position that needs attention stands out immediately — green when there is plenty of tread, yellow when a change is near, and red once the 1.6 mm legal minimum is breached.

Clicking a tire opens a panel on the right where you enter tread depth, pressure, brand and size. A “Tire replaced” toggle starts a new tire’s lifecycle at exactly the right moment. The editor works smoothly on the phone too and adapts to dark mode for the workshop floor.

Colour coding: green ≥ 4 mm, yellow 1.6–4 mm, red < 1.6 mm

Layout designer

Any axle configuration in a few minutes

Tire placement is now fully in your hands. The layout designer ships presets for the most common axle configurations (4×2, 6×2, 6×4 and 8×4 trucks, semi-trailers and a tractor + full trailer combination) and you build your own from there by adding axles, marking steering and lifting axles, and choosing single, dual or tridem wheels.

A live preview draws the silhouette in real time. When a single vehicle differs from the model, “Customise for this vehicle” forks the layout for that vehicle only without touching the whole model. Existing measurements stay safe even when the axle setup changes.

Workshop opportunities

See in advance who to offer tires to

This is the workshop sales view. Pick a customer and a time window (30, 60 or 90 days) and Attire lists the vehicles and tire positions running out of tread — calculated from each tire’s real wear rate, not a guess.

Every row carries a clear recommendation: “Replace now”, “Offer now” or “Reminder”. You also see which brand was previously fitted for that customer, so the quote is right the first time. Call before the customer even notices the problem.

Tire history PDF

Hand over the whole history as one clean PDF

A vehicle’s entire tire history is now one click away as an A4 PDF: a cover page with the silhouette, a summary, a page per position with its wear curve and forecast, plus brand durability and an anomaly log.

Use it in annual reviews, for warranty and insurance cases, or whenever a customer wants documentation of the work done. By default the PDF shows the last 36 months, with the full history one click away.

Fleet list

Tire status and forecast right in the asset list

The asset list gained two new columns: tire status and forecast. Filter the vehicles that need attention, sort by time-to-replacement and pick a whole week of work off the list — without opening a single report.

At the same time the asset list UI was cleaned up: clearer filters, better empty and error states, and faster search.

Interface & referrals

Share reports with the customer — and earn from referrals

Customer interface management was redesigned: a transport company requests access with an ATTIRE code, and once approved every current and future report is visible to them automatically. Interface management now lives in its own clear view, and an e-mail search helps you find the right customer fast.

The new referral programme rewards you for bringing your transport customers onto Attire. The report PDF footer carries a ready QR code that takes the customer straight to a trial — and the referral is credited to you automatically.

Small but meaningful fixes

We fixed a report-save hang and the occasional disappearance of tires on save. Many views also gained clear loading, empty and error states, and vehicle type naming is now consistent throughout the app.
